Dragonfly YouTube Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing the application, the authorized user permits the application to perform specific YouTube-related functions on the user’s behalf.Depending on the permissions granted, the application may:
- identify the authenticated YouTube channel;
- read limited YouTube channel and video metadata;
- review recent uploaded-video information to prevent duplicate uploads;
- upload video files to the authorized YouTube channel;
- set or update video metadata such as title and visibility status;
- maintain a local record of successful uploads and YouTube video IDs.The application does not request, collect, or store the user’s Google or YouTube password.
Information Stored
Dragonfly YouTube Uploader may store the following information locally on the operator’s computer:
- Google OAuth authorization tokens;
- the authorized YouTube channel ID and channel name;
- local video filenames and archive sequence numbers;
- YouTube video IDs returned after uploads;
- upload status information and operational logs.
This information is used only to operate the uploader, preserve upload order, prevent duplicate uploads, resume interrupted processing, and verify that uploads are being sent to the intended YouTube channel.
OAuth credentials and operational records are stored locally on the operator’s computer and are not sold, rented, or provided to advertisers.Video Content
The application uploads video files already owned or controlled by the operator from the operator’s local archive.Dragonfly YouTube Uploader does not use the YouTube API to download or archive audiovisual content from YouTube.
Sharing of Information
Information is transmitted to Google and YouTube only as necessary to authenticate the account and perform authorized YouTube API actions.Dragonfly YouTube Uploader does not sell personal information or YouTube API data and does not share authorized YouTube data with unrelated third parties.Google Privacy Policy

Revoking Access
Users may revoke Dragonfly YouTube Uploader’s access to their Google account at any time through their Google Account security settings:

Revoking access prevents the application from making additional authorized YouTube API requests unless access is granted again.
Deletion of Locally Stored Data
Because Dragonfly YouTube Uploader is a locally operated desktop automation tool, locally stored OAuth tokens, channel information, upload logs, and application state can be deleted directly from the computer on which the application operates.
A user may also contact the developer to request assistance with removing locally stored authorization or application data.Security
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect OAuth credentials and YouTube API data from unauthorized access. OAuth credentials are intended only for use by the authorized operator and are not embedded in publicly distributed software.Website Hosting
The public information page for Dragonfly YouTube Uploader is hosted using Carrd. Carrd may process standard website-access information according to its own privacy practices. The uploader application itself does not depend on website tracking or advertising.Changes to This Policy
